Apartment recently renovated (2021), with a magical view over the rooftops of Venice and the Church of San Giuseppe, located on the top floor of a historic building. Located in Castello, a residential area, surrounded by green and close to the authentic heart of Venice (less than 10 minutes walk from Piazza San Marco). The apartment, with exposed beams and oak floors, is furnished with design elements and equipped with all the latest comforts.

Comfort, design and elegance are the distinctive elements of this elegant apartment, equipped with 3 large windows. The apartment consists of:

• an entrance hall;
• a livable mini-kitchen equipped with a "Minotti" armchair;
• a bedroom with a double bed and equipped with a large desk with work area and empire chest of drawers and two armchairs;  and
• a complete bathroom with double door (equipped, among others, with washbasin, large shower and bidet).

The apartment is air-conditioned with Daikin Emura Top and equipped with all comforts (Wi-fi, TV Led HD, safe, Nespresso coffee machine). Please note that to access the flat you have to climb three flights of stairs, typically Venetian architecture not very wide, one of which has a boat step.

The apartment is the result of two years of restoration work completed in July 2021, which has made it possible to combine sensitivity to the environment (untreated wooden floors, biocalce and marmorino plaster) with sustainability and the latest technology (LED lights, remote and automated opening, air conditioning, modern appliances with low environmental impact, free WiFi). Everything is combined with 70s/80s Italian design objects and antiques.

Please tell us at what time you will arrive to organize the check-in at least 72 h before your expected arrival.

To offer the best comfort, the structure offers a video intercom that, in addition to having the classic function, allows you to communicate via video call with the host for any clarification or important information. The guest may have the possibility to do a remotely self-check-in.

The unit can be rented together with the apartment upstair "Biennale Gallery Loft" which can guest two persons.

According to Italian law, we need an identity document and the guest has to pay the city tax of 4 euros for person daily (for a maximum 5 days) at the moment of the check-in.

Neighbourhood

The sestiere of Castello manages to combine the beauty of the most authentic Venice with big and green spaces, with a multitude of small shops, bars and restaurants in a true Venetian tradition, alternating with numerous art galleries and picturesque views. The apartment remains central, near San Marco, but sheltered from the crowds of daily tourists. All this in complete safety, at any time of day or night, in fact, you can walk safely in lighted streets even during the night.

Transport

The apartment is very easy to reach from almost every part of the city. We give you some advices to reach the apartment:

• From Venice Marco Polo Airport: take AlilagunaBlu and get off at the Arsenale stop. The journey time is 75 minutes and the price is 15 Euros per person. After getting off at the Arsenale stop, in 5 min walk by feet you will reach the apartment in Corte del Soldà 910 (near the Church of San Giuseppe in Castello).
• From the train station Santa Lucia: take the vaporetto 5.1 or 4.1 and get off at the Biennale Giardini stop, in 3 min by feet you will reach the apartment.
• From Piazzale Roma: take the vaporetto 5.1, 4.1 or 6 and get off at the Biennale Giardini stop.
• If you come by car: you can park at the Righi car park (the cheapest), at Tronchetto or at Piazzale Roma.
